Pengaruh ekstrak daun annona muricata fraksi etanol dan etil asetat terhadap zona hambat pertumbuhan staphylococcus aereus (Laporan Penelitian)
S Sirsak (Annona muricata) merupakan tanaman yang mempunyai manfaat besardalam kehidupan manusia. Tanaman sirsak banyak terdapat di Indonesia, namundaun sirsak sangat jarang penggunaannya, meskipun beberapa masyarakatmenggunakan daun ini sebagai obat antikanker. Penelitian dilakukan untukmengetahui pengaruh ekstrak daun sirsak fraksi etanol dan etil asetat terhadapzona hambat pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus. Metode penelitian inidilakukan melalui 2 tahap yaitu, ekstraksi dan uji zona hambat. Pada tahapekstraksi, ekstrak daun sirsak difraksinasi menggunakan pelarut etanol dan etilasetat. Selanjutnya uji zona hambat dilakukan menggunakan teknik difusi agar,menggunakan kontrol klorheksidin dan tetrasiklin. Ekstrak etanol dan etil asetatdiencerkan menjadi konsentrasi 5%, 10% dan 20% lalu diujikan kepadaStaphylococcus aureus untuk diukur setiap 24 jam selama 72 jam. Hasilpengukuran zona hambat ekstrak etanol 24 jam konsentrasi 5%, 10% dan 20%adalah 16.04 mm, 16.61 mm, dan 16.14 mm. Sedangkan fraksi etil asetat adalah15.36 mm, 16.07 mm, 15.71 mm. Selanjutnya pengukuran 48 jam, didapatkanhasil pada ekstrak etanol 5%, 10% dan 20 % adalah 16.61 mm, 17.07 mm, 16.75mm dan pada etil asetat dengan konsentrasi sama adalah 15.86 mm, 16.54 mm,16.21 mm, Pada pengukuran 72 jam didapatkan hasil 16.71 mm, 17.18 mm, 16.82mm untuk ekstrak etanol, dan etil asetat sebesar 15.86 mm, 16.61 mm, 15.86 mm.Hasil penelitian ini diuji secara statistik menggunakan one-way ANOVA danmenghasilkan nilai p<0.05, berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada bahan uji.Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekstrak etanol 10% pada masa inkubasi 72jam memiliki efek yang lebih baik dibandingkan etil asetat dalam menghambatpertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus.
S Soursop (Annona muricata) is a plant that has great benefits in human life. Soursop plants are common in Indonesia, but the leaves are rarely used, althoughsome people use these leaves as an anticancer medication. The research wasconducted to determine the effect of soursop leaf extract ethanol and ethyl acetatefraction on Staphylococcus aureus growth inhibition zone. This research methodwas done through two phases, extraction and inhibition zone test. In extractionphase, soursop leaf extract was fractionated using ethanol and ethyl acetate.Furthermore, inhibition zone test was performed using the agar diffusiontechnique, using chlorhexidine and tetracycline control. Ethanol and ethyl acetateextract was diluted to a concentration of 5%, 10% and 20% and then tested forStaphylococcus aureus to be measured every 24 hours for 72 hours. Results ofinhibition zone measurement of ethanol extract for 24 hour concentration of 5%,10% and 20% was 16.04 mm, 16.61 mm, and 16.14 mm. While the ethyl acetatefraction was 15.36 mm, 16.07 mm, 15.71 mm. Further measurements of 48 hours,showed the ethanol extract 5%, 10% and 20% was 16.61 mm, 17.07 mm, 16.75mm and the ethyl acetate with the same concentration was 15.86 mm, mm 16.54,16.21 mm, On the measurement results obtained 72 hours 16.71 mm, 17.18 mm,16.82 mm to extract ethanol, and ethyl acetate of 15.86 mm, 16.61 mm, 15.86mm. These results were statistically tested using one-way ANOVA and showsvalue of p <0.05, it means there are significant differences on the growthinhibition zone. The conclusion is the 10% ethanol extract after incubated for 72hours has a better effect than the ethyl acetate in inhibiting the growth ofStaphylococcus aureus.
