T The increasing generation of agricultural waste and fecal sludge that is not optimally managed has the potential to cause environmental pollution. composting is one of the alternative treatment methods; however, the high moisture content and low c/n ratio of fecal sludge require the addition of a bulking agent. this study aimed to analyze the effects of rice husk and corn cob composition, as well as matrix addition frequency, on the quality of compost produced from fecal sludge using a facultative composter. the experiment was conducted for 60 days using different matrix compositions and addition frequencies of once every day and once every two days. the observed parameters included temperature, ph, moisture content, organic carbon, total nitrogen, and c/n ratio, which were evaluated based on the requirements of sni 7763:2024. the results showed that all treatments produced compost that complied with the quality standards specified in sni 7763:2024. the optimum treatment was obtained at the a7b3 composition (7 g rice husk : 3 g corn cob) with a matrix addition frequency of once every day, resulting in a moisture content of 15.32%, organic carbon of 21.22%, total nitrogen of 1.96%, a c/n ratio of 10.83, and a ph of 6.6. this combination produced stable compost that satisfied the quality requirements for solid organic fertilizer and demonstrated potential as a sustainable approach for utilizing agricultural waste and fecal sludge.
