T Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis dan menguji peran perceived deception, perceived cognitive load, information manipulation tactics, perceived media richness, perceived trust yang berpengaruh terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes. penelitian ini teknkik yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebesar 216 individu yang pernah menonton video online penipuan/deepfake minimal 1x dalam 6 bulan terakhir dan individu yang pernah melakukan perjalanan wisata minimal 1x dalam 6 bulan terakhir. metode analisis data diolah menggunakan structural equation modeling (sem) dengan bantuan software amos versi 29. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) perceived deception berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes, (2) perceived cognitive load berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes, (3) information manipulation tactics berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes, (4) perceived media richness berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes, (5) perceived trust berpengaruh positif terhadap intention to visit tourist destination by watching deepfakes. penelitian ini memiliki implikasi manajerial adalah dapat meningkatkan niat kunjungan wisatawan melalui video deepfake dengan mengoptimalkan taktik manipulasi informasi, memperkaya kualitas media yang disajikan, serta membangun kepercayaan konsumen melalui penyampaian informasi yang akurat dan relevan.
T The purpose of this study is to analyze and examine the role of perceived deception, perceived cognitive load, information manipulation tactics, perceived media richness, and perceived trust that influence the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes. the research technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 216 individuals who have watched online deception/deepfake videos at least once in the last six months and individuals who have traveled at least once in the last six months. data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling (sem) with the assistance of amos software version 29. the results of the study indicate that (1) perceived deception has a positive effect on the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes, (2) perceived cognitive load has a positive effect on the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes, (3) information manipulation tactics have a positive effect on the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes, (4) perceived media richness has a positive effect on the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes, (5) perceived trust has a positive effect on the intention to visit tourist destinations by watching deepfakes. this study has managerial implications in that it can increase tourists\\\' intention to visit through deepfake videos by optimizing information manipulation tactics, enhancing the quality of the media presented, and building consumer trust through the delivery of accurate and relevant information.
