P Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh training and developmentdan leadership terhadap work performance dengan organizational commitment sebagaivariabel mediasi pada karyawan perusahaan rental kendaraan di wilayah jabodetabek.latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh pentingnya pengelolaan sumber daya manusiadalam meningkatkan kinerja kerja di industri transportasi, khususnya sektor rentalkendaraan, yang berperan strategis dalam menunjang mobilitas dan efisiensi operasional.penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melaluikuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 188 respoden dengan responden karyawan perusahaanrental di jabodetabek dengan metode yang digunakan adalah non probablity samplingdengan teknik purposive sampling. analisis data dilakukan dengan structural equationmodeling (sem) berbantuan software amos versi 26 serta uji mediasi menggunakansobel test. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa leadership berpengaruh positif terhadaporganizational commitment dan work performance, sementara training anddevelopment berpengaruh positif terhadap work performance, namun tidak berpengaruhterhadap organizational commitment. selain itu, organizational commitment terbuktimemediasi pengaruh leadership terhadap work performance, namun tidak memediasipengaruh training and development terhadap work performance. temuan inimenunjukkan bahwa faktor kepemimpinan lebih dominan dalam membentuk komitmenkaryawan dibandingkan program pelatihan. implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikanmasukan strategis bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kinerja melalui kepemimpinanyang suportif dan penguatan komitmen organisasi.
T This study aims to analyze the influence of training and development andleadership on work performance with organizational commitment as a mediatingvariable on employees of vehicle rental companies in the greater jakarta area. thebackground of this study is based on the importance of human resource management inimproving work performance in the transportation industry, especially the vehicle rentalsector, which plays a strategic role in supporting mobility and operational efficiency. thisstudy uses a quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires distributedto 188 respondents with respondents being employees of rental companies in greaterjakarta. the method used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique.data analysis was carried out using structural equation modeling (sem) assisted byamos software version 26 and mediation test using sobel test. the results of the studyindicate that leadership has a positive effect on organizational commitment and workperformance, while training and development has a positive effect on work performance,but does not affect organizational commitment. in addition, organizational commitmentis proven to mediate the influence of leadership on work performance, but does notmediate the influence between training and development on work performance. thesefindings indicate that leadership factors are more dominant in shaping employeecommitment than training programs. the implications of this research provide strategicinput for companies in improving performance through supportive leadership andstrengthening organizational commitment.
