L Lumpur pemboran memainkan peran penting dalam kegiatan operasi pemboran, di antaranya untuk mengangkat serpih bor, mendinginkan mata bor, dan menahan tekanan formasi. kondisi reservoir yang high pressure high temperature (hpht) menjadi salah satu tantangan karena banyak masalah yang dapat timbul, seperti pembengkakan formasi shale dan hilangnya kestabilan lubang bor. penggunaan lumpur berbasis minyak menjadi salah satu solusi, karena mampu mengatasi masalah reaktivitas shale serta tetap stabil pada temperatur tinggi.pada studi ini dilakukan percobaan untuk melihat pengaruh perubahan suhu dan oil water ratio terhadap sifat fisik sampel lumpur smooth fluid 05. percobaan ini dilakukan di laboratorium balai besar pengujian minyak dan gas bumi (lemigas). penelitian diawali dengan pembuatan sampel lumpur sf-05 pada oil water ratio 80:20 dan 70:30 dengan komposisi yang meliputi sf-05, air, h-lime, unimul-p, unitone-ht, kalsium klorida, unigel-om, unimul-s, dan unibar. sampel kemudian diuji pada temperatur 80Ëšf, 300Ëšf, 325Ëšf, dan 350Ëšf dan dianalisa sifat fisiknya, meliputi densitas, plastic viscosity, yield point, gel strength, filtration loss, mud cake, electrical stability, dan ph.hasil penelitian menunjukkan penurunan nilai pada setiap sifat fisik lumpur pemboran seiring dengan kenaikan suhu, terkecuali filtration loss dan mud cake. perbedaan besarnya rasio minyak terhadap air juga mempengaruhi sifat fisik lumpur. sampel lumpur dengan owr 70:30 memiliki sifat fisik yang lebih stabil apabila dibandingkan dengan sampel lumpur dengan owr 80:20. nilai densitas sampel lumpur dengan owr 80:20 pada suhu 80Ëšf, 300Ëšf, 325Ëšf, dan 350Ëšf didapat 10.9-12.4, sedangkan pada owr 70:30 mendapatkan nilai 11-12.5ppg. nilai plastic viscosity sampel lumpur pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 yaitu 38-30 cps, sedangkan pada owr 70:30 didapatkan 48-32 cps. nilai yield point sampel lumpur pada owr 80:20 yaitu 34-28 cps, sedangkan pada owr 70:30 didapatkan 37-18 cps. nilai sampel lumpur gel strength 10 detik pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 dan 70:30 yaitu 20-9 lb/100ft2 dan 23-10 lb/100ft2, sedangkan gel strength 10 menit didapatkan 29-11 lb/100ft2 dan 32-14 lb/100ft2. pengujian pada filtration loss dan mud cake mengalami peningkatan seiring naiknya temperatur ini dikarenakan nilai pada viskositas yang berkurang membutat lumpur lewbih cair sehingga lebih mudah mengalir melalui pori-pori formasi. nilai filtration loss pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 yaitu 1-4 ml, sedangkan pada owr 70:30 didapatkan 1,25-4,2 ml. nilai mud cake pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 yaitu 1,35-2,7 mm, sedangkan pada owr 70:30 didapatkan 1.4-3.2 mm. nilai electrical stability sampel lumpur pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 dan 70:30 yaitu 1872-919 volt dan 1517-671 volt. nilai ph sampel lumpur pada variasi temperatur dengan owr 80:20 dan 70:30 yaitu 10,2-8 dan 10,5- 8,1. pada suhu yang lebih tinggi sifat fisik lumpur meningkat, sedangkan variasi owr juga mengakibatkan perubahan nilai pada sampel lumpur. hasil penelitain ini diperoleh sampel lumpur yang paling baik yaitu sampel lumpur sf-05 dengan owr 80:20

D Drilling mud plays an important role in drilling operations, including lifting drill cuttings, cooling the drill bit, and withstanding formation pressure. high pressure high temperature (hpht) reservoir conditions pose a challenge because many problems can arise, such as shale formation swelling and loss of borehole stability. the use of oil-based mud is one solution, as it can overcome shale reactivity issues and remain stable at high temperatures.this study conducted experiments to observe the effect of temperature changes and oil-water ratio on the physical properties of smooth fluid 05 mud samples. these experiments were conducted at the oil and gas testing center (lemigas) laboratory. the research began with the preparation of sf-05 mud samples at oil-water ratios of 80:20 and 70:30 with a composition that included sf-05, water, h-lime, unimul-p, unitone-ht, calcium chloride, unigel-om, unimul-s, and unibar. the samples were then tested at temperatures of 80Ëšf, 300Ëšf, 325Ëšf, and 350Ëšf and analyzed for their physical properties, including density, plastic viscosity, yield point, gel strength, filtration loss, mud cake, electrical stability, and ph.the results of the study show a decrease in the value of each physical property of drilling mud as the temperature increases, except for filtration loss and mud cake. the difference in the oil-to-water ratio also affects the physical properties of the mud. mud samples with an owr of 70:30 have more stable physical properties when compared to mud samples with an owr of 80:20. the density values of mud samples with an owr of 80:20 at temperatures of 80Ëšf, 300Ëšf, 325Ëšf, and 350Ëšf were 10.9-12.4, while those with an owr of 70:30 were 11-12.5 ppg. the plastic viscosity values of mud samples at varying temperatures with an owr of 80:20 were 38-30 cps, while those with an owr of 70:30 were 48-32 cps. the yield point value of the mud sample at owr 80:20 was 34-28 cps, while at owr 70:30 it was 37-18 cps. the 10-second gel strength value of the mud sample at varying temperatures with owr 80:20 and 70:30 was 20-9 lb/100ft2 and 23-10 lb/100ft2, while the 10-minute gel strength was 29-11 lb/100ft2 and 32-14 lb/100ft2. testing on filtration loss and mud cake showed an increase as the temperature rose because the reduced viscosity made the mud more fluid, allowing it to flow more easily through the formation pores. the filtration loss value at varying temperatures with owr 80:20 was 1-4 ml, while at owr 70:30 it was 1.25-4.2 ml. the mud cake values at varying temperatures with owr 80:20 were 1.35-2.7 mm, while at owr 70:30 they were 1.4-3.2 mm. the electrical stability values of mud samples at varying temperatures with owr 80:20 and 70:30 are 1872-919 volts and 1517-671 volts. the ph values of mud samples at varying temperatures with owr 80:20 and 70:30 are 10.2-8 and 10.5-8.1. at higher temperatures, the physical properties of the slurry increase, while variations in owr also cause changes in the values of the slurry samples. this research resulted in the best mud sample, namely mud sample sf-05 with an owr of 80:20.
