K Kegiatan penambangan batu andesit dengan sistem tambang terbuka memiliki peran penting dalam penyediaan material konstruksi untuk pembangunan infrastruktur nasional. namun, aktivitas tersebut juga menimbulkan perubahan bentang alam yang signifikan, salah satunya berupa terbentuknya danau pasca tambang pada area bekas galian. danau pasca tambang andesit di desa taman sari, kabupaten bogor, jawa barat, terbentuk akibat akumulasi air hujan dan infiltrasi air tanah yang mengisi cekungan bekas penambangan. keberadaan danau ini memiliki potensi untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber air alternatif, kawasan rekreasi, serta habitat baru bagi biota perairan, namun di sisi lain juga menimbulkan tantangan terkait kualitas air, stabilitas lereng, dan perubahan ekosistem lokal. oleh karena itu, diperlukan kajian karakterisasi yang komprehensif sebagai dasar pengelolaan yang berkelanjutan. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik fisik dan kimia, danau pasca tambang andesit di desa taman sari. parameter fisik yang dianalisis meliputi suhu, kedalaman, kecerahan, kekeruhan, serta kondisi dan dimensi lereng di sekitar danau. parameter kimia mencakup ph, oksigen terlarut (do), konduktivitas, ion-ion utama, dan logam terlarut. hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat memberikan data dan informasi ilmiah sebagai dasar dalam perencanaan pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, serta upaya reklamasi atau rehabilitasi danau pasca tambang andesit secara adaptif dan berkelanjutan
A Andesite mining activities using the open pit mining system play an important role in supplying construction materials for national infrastructure development. however, such activities also cause significant alterations to the landscape, one of which is the formation of post-mining lakes in former excavation areas. the andesite post-mining lake in taman sari village, bogor regency, west java, was formed as a result of the accumulation of rainwater and groundwater infiltration filling the abandoned mining pit. the presence of this lake has the potential to be utilized as an alternative water source, a recreational area, and a new habitat for aquatic biota; however, it also poses challenges related to water quality, slope stability, and changes in the local ecosystem. therefore, a comprehensive characterization study is required as a basis for sustainable management. this study aims to examine the physical and chemical characteristics of the andesite post-mining lake in taman sari village. the physical parameters analyzed include water temperature, depth, water transparency, turbidity, as well as the condition and dimensions of the surrounding slopes. chemical parameters include ph, dissolved oxygen (do), electrical conductivity, major ions, and dissolved metals. the results of this study are expected to provide scientific data and information to support planning for management, utilization, and reclamation or rehabilitation efforts of the andesite post-mining lake in an adaptive and sustainable manner.
