A Analisis kestabilan lereng merupakan aspek penting dalam kegiatan penambangan terbuka karena berpengaruh terhadap keselamatan kerja dan keberlangsungan operasi penambangan. penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kestabilan lereng highwall di pit danau biru pt allied indo coal jaya, membandingkan hasil analisis menggunakan metode bishop dan morgenstern-price, serta menentukan rekomendasi geometri overall slope yang sesuai dengan kondisi lereng. analisis dilakukan menggunakan limit equilibrium method (lem) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak slide2 pada kondisi kering dan jenuh, sedangkan analisis kinematik dilakukan menggunakan dips untuk mengidentifikasi mekanisme kelongsoran. hasil analisis kinematik menunjukkan adanya potensi kelongsoran bidang (planar sliding) yang bersifat non-circular. analisis kestabilan lereng aktual dengan tinggi 22 m dan sudut kemiringan 49° menghasilkan nilai faktor keamanan (fk) sebesar 1,472 pada kondisi kering dan 1,272 pada kondisi jenuh menggunakan metode bishop, serta 2,295 pada kondisi kering dan 2,088 pada kondisi jenuh menggunakan metode morgenstern-price. berdasarkan analisis lereng tunggal pada setiap litologi, geometri tinggi bench 6 m dan sudut 70° dipilih sebagai dasar penyusunan overall slope. geometri overall slope yang direkomendasikan terdiri atas empat bench, yaitu bench paling bawah dengan tinggi 6 m dan sudut 45°, dua bench berikutnya dengan tinggi 6 m dan sudut 70°, serta bench paling atas dengan tinggi 4 m dan sudut 70°. hasil analisis overall slope menggunakan metode morgenstern-price menghasilkan nilai fk sebesar 1,806 pada kondisi kering dan 1,479 pada kondisi jenuh. kedua nilai tersebut memenuhi kriteria faktor keamanan minimum berdasarkan keputusan menteri esdm nomor 1827 k/30/mem/2018, sehingga geometri overall slope yang direkomendasikan dinyatakan stabil dan aman untuk diterapkan. metode morgenstern-price dipilih sebagai acuan utama karena lebih sesuai dengan mekanisme kelongsoran non-circular yang teridentifikasi pada lokasi penelitian.
S Slope stability analysis is an important aspect of open-pit mining activities because it affects work safety and the continuity of mining operations. this study aims to analyze the stability of the highwall slope at the danau biru pit, pt allied indo coal jaya, compare the analysis results using the bishop and morgenstern-price methods, and determine an overall slope geometry recommendation suitable for the slope conditions. the analysis was conducted using the limit equilibrium method (lem) with the assistance of slide2 software under dry and saturated conditions, while kinematic analysis was performed using dips to identify the potential failure mechanism. the kinematic analysis indicated the potential occurrence of planar sliding, which is classified as a non-circular failure mechanism. stability analysis of the existing slope, with a height of 22 m and an inclination angle of 49°, resulted in factor of safety (fs) values of 1.472 under dry conditions and 1.272 under saturated conditions using the bishop method, and 2.295 under dry conditions and 2.088 under saturated conditions using the morgenstern-price method. based on the single-slope analysis of each lithology, a bench height of 6 m and an angle of 70° were selected as the basis for developing the overall slope. the recommended overall slope consists of four benches, with the lowest bench having a height of 6 m and an angle of 45°, two subsequent benches having a height of 6 m and an angle of 70°, and the uppermost bench having a height of 4 m and an angle of 70°. the overall slope analysis using the morgenstern-price method resulted in fs values of 1.806 under dry conditions and 1.479 under saturated conditions. both values meet the minimum factor of safety criteria stipulated in the decree of the minister of energy and mineral resources number 1827 k/30/mem/2018; therefore, the recommended overall slope geometry is considered stable and safe for implementation. the morgenstern-price method was selected as the primary reference because it is more suitable for representing the non-circular failure mechanism identified at the study site.
