L Lumpur tinja berpotensi dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku kompos, namun kadar air yang tinggi dan porositas yang rendah dapat menghambat proses pengomposan. penambahan matriks berupa sekam padi dan sabut kelapa diperlukan untuk meningkatkan porositas serta mendukung proses dekomposisi. penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh frekuensi pemasukan dan variasi rasio matriks sekam padi dan sabut kelapa terhadap karakteristik kompos serta menentukan perlakuan optimum berdasarkan parameter suhu, ph, kadar air, c-organik, n-total, dan rasio c/n sesuai sni 7763:2024. penelitian dilakukan menggunakan 22 komposter dengan aerasi pasif selama 60 hari, terdiri atas dua frekuensi pemasukan matriks (1 hari sekali dan 2 hari sekali) dengan sebelas variasi rasio sekam padi dan sabut kelapa. penentuan perlakuan optimum dilakukan berdasarkan karakteristik kompos dan kesesuaiannya terhadap sni 7763:2024. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa frekuensi pemasukan dan variasi rasio matriks berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik kompos. frekuensi pemasukan optimum diperoleh pada perlakuan setiap 2 hari sekali karena menghasilkan kualitas kompos relatif setara dengan pemasukan setiap hari dengan penggunaan matriks lebih rendah. perlakuan 2(a8b2) menghasilkan suhu akhir 30,0°c, ph 7,5, kadar air 13,50%, c-organik 15,21%, n-total 1,37%, dan rasio c/n 11,09. rasio matriks optimum diperoleh pada perlakuan setiap hari dengan komposisi sekam padi : sabut kelapa 6 : 4 (a6b4), menghasilkan suhu akhir 31,0°c, ph 7,0, kadar air 11,75%, c-organik 19,47%, n-total 1,96%, dan rasio c/n 9,94. secara keseluruhan, tujuh komposter memenuhi persyaratan mutu kompos sni 7763:2024, yaitu a8b2, a6b4, a5b5, a4b6, 2(a8b2), 2(a7b3), dan 2(a6b4), dengan karakteristik suhu akhir 30,0–31,0°c, ph 7,5–8,0, kadar air 10,54–15,04%, c-organik 15,00–19,59%, n-total 1,37–1,96%, dan rasio c/n 8,50–11,09. hasil uji lanjutan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh kompos memenuhi persyaratan kandungan pb, cd, ni, dan escherichia coli (e. coli). dengan demikian, frekuensi pemasukan dan variasi rasio matriks sekam padi dan sabut kelapa berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik kompos hasil pemanfaatan lumpur tinja serta menghasilkan kompos yang memenuhi persyaratan mutu sni 7763:2024.
F Fecal sludge has the potential to be utilized as a raw material for compost production; however, its high moisture content and low porosity can hinder the composting process. the addition of matrix materials in the form of rice husk and coconut coir is required to improve porosity and support decomposition. this study aimed to analyze the effect of matrix addition frequency and variations in rice husk and coconut coir ratios on compost characteristics and determine the optimum treatment based on temperature, ph, moisture content, c-organic, total nitrogen, and c/n ratio according to sni 7763:2024. the study was conducted using 22 composters with passive aeration for 60 days, consisting of two matrix addition frequencies (once a day and once every two days) with eleven variations of rice husk and coconut coir ratios. the optimum treatment was determined based on compost characteristics and compliance with sni 7763:2024. the results showed that matrix addition frequency and ratio variations affected compost characteristics. the optimum frequency was obtained from the treatment with matrix addition every two days, as it produced comparable compost quality to daily addition while requiring less matrix input. treatment 2(a8b2) resulted in a final temperature of 30.0°c, ph 7.5, moisture content 13.50%, c-organic 15.21%, total nitrogen 1.37%, and c/n ratio 11.09. the optimum matrix ratio was obtained from daily addition with a rice husk to coconut coir ratio of 6:4 (a6b4), resulting in compost with a final temperature of 31.0°c, ph 7.0, moisture content 11.75%, c-organic 19.47%, total nitrogen 1.96%, and c/n ratio 9.94. overall, seven composters met the compost quality requirements of sni 7763:2024, namely a8b2, a6b4, a5b5, a4b6, 2(a8b2), 2(a7b3), and 2(a6b4), with final characteristics of temperature 30.0–31.0°c, ph 7.5–8.0, moisture content 10.54–15.04%, c-organic 15.00–19.59%, total nitrogen 1.37–1.96%, and c/n ratio 8.50–11.09. further testing showed that all compost samples met the requirements for pb, cd, ni, and escherichia coli (e. coli). therefore, matrix addition frequency and rice husk–coconut coir ratio variations affected compost characteristics from fecal sludge utilization and produced compost that met sni 7763:2024 quality requirements.
