T The development of digital payment systems as strategic infrastructure in the digital economy has the potential to give rise to abuse of dominant position due to the concentrated nature of the market. the issues examined in this study are how the legal framework governing the abuse of dominant position in digital payments is regulated in indonesia and the european union, as well as how cases of abuse of dominant position are resolved in practice. the research method employed is normative legal research with a descriptive nature, conducted through a literature review of primary legal materials. the results of the study indicate that indonesia and the european union share similarities in regulating the abuse of dominant position; however, there are differences in the regulatory structure and its implementation. this is because indonesia does not yet have an integrated regulation that specifically governs the abuse of dominant position in digital payments. in contrast, the european union has established a specific regulatory framework through the payment services directive 2 (psd2). accordingly, the regulation of abuse of dominant position in digital payments in the european union is more structured and comprehensive.
