P Pt abc merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang memproduksi komponen vertical member untuk kebutuhan alat berat. dalam proses produksinya masih ditemukan aktivitas yang tidak memberikan nilai tambah sehingga menimbulkan pemborosan dan menurunkan efisiensi proses. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemborosan, menentukan akar penyebab permasalahan, serta memberikan usulan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi. metode yang digunakan adalah lean manufacturing dengan pendekatan value stream mapping (vsm), process activity mapping (pam), fishbone diagram, dan quality control circle (qcc). hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses produksi memiliki manufacturing lead time (mlt) sebesar 1.051 menit dan process cycle efficiency (pce) sebesar 62%. pemborosan dominan yang ditemukan yaitu excess processing sebesar 37% dan waiting sebesar 26%. hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemborosan dipengaruhi oleh faktor manusia, mesin, metode, material, lingkungan, dan pengukuran. usulan perbaikan yang diberikan meliputi standarisasi setup mesin, penyederhanaan inspeksi, optimalisasi penggunaan alat material handling, penataan area penyimpanan tools, serta penerapan konsep 6s. hasil future state mapping menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas non-value added berhasil dieliminasi dari 60 menit menjadi 0 menit, manufacturing lead time menurun menjadi 991 menit, dan process cycle efficiency meningkat menjadi 66%. dengan demikian, usulan perbaikan yang diberikan mampu meningkatkan efisiensi proses produksi.
P Pt abc is a manufacturing company that produces vertical member components for heavy equipment. in its production process, there are still activities that do not add value, resulting in waste and reducing process efficiency. this study aims to identify waste, determine the root causes of problems, and propose improvement actions to increase production efficiency. the methods used in this study are lean manufacturing with the approaches of value stream mapping (vsm), process activity mapping (pam), fishbone diagram, and quality control circle (qcc). the results show that the production process has a manufacturing lead time (mlt) of 1,051 minutes and a process cycle efficiency (pce) of 62%. the dominant wastes identified are excess processing at 37% and waiting at 26%. the analysis indicates that these wastes are influenced by human, machine, method, material, environment, and measurement factors. the proposed improvements include machine setup standardization, inspection simplification, optimization of material handling equipment utilization, organization of tool storage areas, and implementation of the 6s concept. the future state mapping results show that non-value added activities were successfully eliminated from 60 minutes to 0 minutes, manufacturing lead time decreased to 991 minutes, and process cycle efficiency increased to 66%. therefore, the proposed improvements are able to enhance the production efficiency of vertical member components at pt abc.
