Abstract

P Perkembangan oral iniplanologi mengakibatkan kemajuan dan perkembangan sistemdental implant. Salah satu dari sistem implan tersebut adalah sistem ITI. Sistem ITIdental implant yang terdiri dari tipe hollow cylinder, tipe hollow screw dan tipe solidscrew merupakan kelebihan tersendiri. Pertimbangan dan konsep yangmelatarbelakangi sistem ITI implan sehingga memiliki kelebihan tersendiri tersebutdijelaskan termasuk osteointegrasi, perkembangan ITI implan, ciri masing-masingtipe, instrumentasi, indikasi dan kontraindikasi, teknik bedah dan komplikasi yangmungkin timbul serta tingkat kesuksesan sistem ITI implan.

T The development of oral implantology have led the development and progress ofdental implant system. One of the dental implant system is ITI. The ITI dentalimplant system like hollow cylinder type, hollow screw type, dan solid screw typehave their advantages. The concept that led to this advantages of the ITI dentalimplant system is explained included osseointegration, development of ITI implant,characteristic of each type, instrumentation, indication and contra indication, surgicalprocedure dan complication that may occur and the success rate of ITI dental implantsystem.
