D Daerah penelitian merupakan kawasan iup op pt aneka tambang yangterletak di dusun tengkuyung, desa balai belungai, kecamatan tayan hilir,kabupaten sanggau, kalimantan barat. daerah penelitian merupakan bagian dariblock schwaner dengan batuan penyusunnya adalah batuan beku sehingga terdapatendapan bauksit laterit. penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh darimorfologi dan litologi terhadap ketebalan dan kualitas bauksit laterit. metodologipenelitian yang dilakuka yaitu dengan pemetaan geologi, analisis morfologi danstruktur geologi, analisis ketebalan, dan analisis kadar al2o3, fe2o3 dan sio2.geomorfologi daerah penelitian dikelompokan menjadi tiga yaitu, satuangeomorfologi perbukitan bergelombang intrusi, satuan geomorfologi perbukitanterjal intrusi dan satuan dataran rawa. stratigrafi daerah penelitian diurutkan daritua ke muda, satuan litologi diorit kuarsa, satuan litologi anortosit, satuan diorit dansatuan endapan aluvium. struktur geologi daerah penelitian berupa rekahan yangmemiliki orientasi barat laut - tenggara. hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwaendapan bauksit laterit mengalami penebalan yang bervariasi pada morfologiperbukitan bergelombang yang memiliki kemiringan lereng 14°, variasi ketebalantersebut dikontrol oleh intensitas struktur geologi berupa rekahan yang diinterpretasikan berdasarkan kelurusan. lateritisasi di daerah pemetaan bekerjadengan kuat (strong lateritization). batuan asal mengontrol kualitas bauksit,berdasarkan cut of grade, diorit kuarsa, anortosit dan diorit menghasilkan bauksityang high grade. bauksit yang terbentuk di daerah penelitian termasuk tipe ferricbauxite, laterite, dan kaolinite.
T The research area is the pt aneka tambang iup op area located in tengkuyunghamlet, balai belungai village, tayan hilir district, sanggau regency, westkalimantan. the research area is part of the schwaner block, which is composedof igneous rocks, and thus contains lateritic bauxite deposits. this research wasconducted to determine the influence of morphology and lithology on the thicknessand quality of lateritic bauxite. the research methodology involved geologicalmapping, morphological and geological structure analysis, thickness analysis, andanalysis of al2o3, fe2o3, and sio2 content. the geomorphology of the researcharea is grouped into three units: the undulating hills intrusion geomorphologicalunit, the steep hills intrusion geomorphological unit, and the swampy plains unit.the stratigraphy of the research area is ordered from oldest to youngest: quartzdiorite lithological unit, anorthosite lithological unit, diorite unit, and alluvialdeposit unit. the geological structure of the research area consists of fractures witha northwest-southeast orientation. the results of the study show that lateriticbauxite deposits undergo varying thickening on undulating hill morphologies witha slope of 14°. these thickness variations are controlled by the intensity ofgeological structures in the form of fractures, which are interpreted based onlineaments. lateritization in the mapping area is strong. the parent rock controlsthe quality of the bauxite. based on the cut-off grade, quartz diorite, anorthosite,and diorite produce high-grade bauxite. the bauxite formed in the research area isclassified as ferric bauxite, laterite, and kaolinite type.
