I In making this paper, the author chose the title "The properties and appearance of the color of dentures in prosthodontics", because the manufacture of dentures in dentistry must meet the aesthetic requirements which include the shape and color of the teeth and the aesthetic aspect of the appearance of the color is a factor that needs to be considered in the manufacture of dentures so that they can match the color of natural teeth (Martinelli, 1983). Here will also be discussed the properties of color, factors that influence color selection and color selection procedures and techniques for determining harmonious colors. From the above factors, it is hoped that dentistry graduates can know more about the properties, especially in the manufacture of dentures and this knowledge will be broader.
