S Sebelum dilakukan reparasi geligi tiruan yang patah atau rusak, perlu dilakukanpemeriksaan terlebih dahulu, dan dicari penyebab patah atau rusaknya gehgi tiruantersebut, seperti: patahnya elemen gigi yang disebabkan adanya hambatan oklusi ataukarena gigitan dalam, patahnya basis gehgi tiruan pada bagian tengah yang disebabkanpenyusunan gigi di luar lingir sisa (ridge).

Examples include the fracture of a denture tooth due to occlusal interference or a deep bite, or a midline fracture of the denture base resulting from the positioning of teeth outside the residual ridge.
