Abstrak
Abstract

S Seiring dengan berkembangnya industri manufaktur di Indonesia, persaingan antar perusahaan semakin ketat dan tidak dapat dihindarkan. Khususnya untuk industri pembuatan Mini Box, jumlah perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri ini semakin banyak yang berarti jumlah pesaing semakin banyak. PT Topunion Widya Box Industri adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri pembuatan mini Box. Perusahaan ini memproduksi produk berupa Corrugated Carton Boxes, Single Wall, Double Wall,Three Wall, Die Cut Boxes, Single Faces dan Fluting Paper. Produk-produk ini tidak hanya dipasarkan di dalam kota tetapi sudah sampai ke luar kota. Dengan semakin banyaknya konsumen yang menjadi pelanggan dari perusahaan ini. Perusahaan sering mengalami masalah persediaan bahan baku kertas. Hal ini menyebabkan perusahaan sering mengalami kenigian-kerugian secara financial. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan suatu perencanaan persediaan bahan baku kertas dimana permintaan barang jadi dari konsumen bersifat tidak tentu atau probabilistik. Pertama-tama permintaan barang jadi diubah menjadi permintaan bahan baku. Bahan baku yang menjadi bahan pembuatan sheet terdiri dari berbagai macam jenis kertas dan lebar. Dimana total keseluruhan jenis bahan baku kertas ada 147 macam yang terdiri dari 6 jenis kertas dan lebarnya dari 80 cm sampai dengan 180 cm untuk setiap jenis kertas. Kemudian dari 147 macam bahan baku kertas tersebut dicari yang paling penting untuk dilakukan persediaan dengan menggunakan klasifikasi ABC. Klasifikasi A mentpakan bahan baku yang memberikan kontribusi biaya sebesar 80 %, Klasifikasi B memberikan kontribusi biaya sebesar 15 dan Klasifikasi C memberikan kontribusi biaya sebesar 5 %. Selanjutnya Perencanaan persediaan untuk bahan balm yang masuk dalam klasifikasi A dilakukan dengan pendekatan persediaan Continous Review. Hal ini disebabkan bahan baku kertas yang masuk dalam klasifikasi ini memerlukan pengawasan yang ketat, teliti dan lengkap serta frekuensi pengamatan yang kontinu. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan akan dihasilkan jumlah pemesanan yang paling optimal Q dan reorder point r untuk setiap jenis bahan baku kertas. Selain itu didapatkan juga biaya total per tahunnya, jumlah backorder, safety stok serta tingkat pelayanan yang dapat diberikan perusahaan dalam memenuhi permintaan konsumen. Untuk perencanaan persediaan bahan baku yang masuk dalam klasifikasi B dilakukan dengan pendekatan persediaan Periodic Review. Hal ini disebabkan bahan baku yang masuk dalam klasifikasi ini tidak memerlukan pengawasan yang terlalu ketat sehingga frekuensi pengamatan dapat dilakukan secara periodic. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan metode ini akan dihasilkan interval pemesanan yang paling optimal T dan tingkat pemesanan maksimum R untuk setiap jenis bahan baku kertas. Biaya total, safety stok, jumlah backorder serta tingkat pelayanan juga dihitung pada model persediaanini.Pada akhirnya untuk memudahkan perhitungan dalam perencanaan persediaan, maka dikembangkan program perhitungan model persediaan Continous dan Periodic Review yang dibuat dengan Visual Basic for Application yang ada pada Excel.

A As the manufacturing industry in Indonesia grows, competition between companies is becoming increasingly fierce and unavoidable. Especially in the Mini Box manufacturing industry, the number of companies operating in this industry is increasing, meaning the number of competitors is increasing. PT Topunion Widya Box Industri is one of the companies operating in the mini box manufacturing industry. This company produces products in the form of Corrugated Carton Boxes, Single Wall, Double Wall, Three Wall, Die Cut Boxes, Single Faces, and Fluting Paper. These products are not only marketed within the city but have also reached outside the city. With the increasing number of consumers who become customers of this company, the company often experiences problems with paper raw material inventory. This causes the company to often experience financial losses. Therefore, it is necessary to plan paper raw material inventory where the demand for finished goods from consumers is uncertain or probabilistic. First, the demand for finished goods is converted into raw material demand. The raw materials used to make sheets consist of various types of paper and widths. Where the total number of paper raw materials is 147 types consisting of 6 types of paper and widths ranging from 80 cm to 180 cm for each type of paper. Then, from the 147 types of paper raw materials, the most important ones are sought for inventory using the ABC classification. Classification A is the raw material that contributes 80% of the cost, Classification B contributes 15% of the cost, and Classification C contributes 5%. Furthermore, inventory planning for balm materials included in classification A is carried out using the Continuous Review inventory approach. This is because paper raw materials included in this classification require strict, thorough, and complete supervision as well as continuous observation frequency. Based on the calculation results, the most optimal order quantity Q and reorder point r will be produced for each type of paper raw material. In addition, the total cost per year, the number of backorders, safety stock, and the level of service that the company can provide in meeting consumer demand are also obtained. For inventory planning of raw materials included in classification B, the Periodic Review inventory approach is carried out. This is because raw materials included in this classification do not require too strict supervision so that the observation frequency can be carried out periodically. Based on the calculations using this method, the optimal ordering interval T and maximum ordering level R for each type of paper raw material are generated. Total costs, safety stock, backorder quantity, and service level are also calculated in this inventory model.Finally, to facilitate calculations in inventory planning, a Continuous and Periodic Review inventory model calculation program was developed using Visual Basic for Applications in Excel.
