K Kurangnya minat generasi muda dalam mempelajari budaya tradisional menjadi tantangan dalam upaya pelestarian warisan budaya indonesia. salah satunya adalah rumah adat joglo yogyakarta yang mulai jarang dikenal secara mendalam oleh generasi z. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media edukasi berbasis augmented reality (ar) yang menarik sebagai sarana pengenalan budaya. metodologi yang digunakan mengacu pada pendekatan design thinking, yang memfokuskan pada penyelesaian masalah melalui pemahaman mendalam dan eksperimen kreatif. data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, serta wawancara untuk memahami kebutuhan pengguna dan merumuskan solusi desain. hasil akhir ini berupa video edukasi “jelajahi halaman rumah joglo†dengan scan qr code yang terhubung ke website, dilengkapi informasi visual dan narasi edukatif. media ini berhasil meningkatkan ketertarikan serta pemahaman pengguna terhadap nilai-nilai budaya rumah joglo melalui pendekatan teknologi digital.
T The declining interest among younger generations in learning about traditional culture poses a significant challenge to the preservation of indonesia’s cultural heritage. one such example is the joglo traditional house of yogyakarta, which is gradually becoming less familiar to generation z. this research aims to design an engaging educational medium based on augmented reality (ar) as a tool for cultural introduction. the methodology employed refers to the design thinking framework, which emphasizes user-centered problem-solving through empathy, ideation, and iterative prototyping. data were obtained through observation and interviews to identify user needs and formulate appropriate design solutions. the final outcome is an educational video titled \\\"explore the joglo house courtyard,\\\" accessible via a qr code that links to a website containing rich visual content and informative cultural narration. this media has proven effective in enhancing user engagement and understanding of the cultural values embodied in the joglo house through the application of digital technology.
