P Proses manufaktur ban berperan penting dalam menentukan kualitas dan keselamatan kendaraan. salah satu parameter kualitas ban adalah uniformity, khususnya lateral force deviation (lfd) yang terdiri atas lateral force variation (lfv), conicity, dan ply steer. tingginya nilai conicity menyebabkan meningkatnya produk out of specification (out spec) sehingga menurunkan nilai oe yield. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penyebab terjadinya deformasi gaya lateral pada proses manufaktur ban original equipment manufacturer (oem) serta menyusun tindakan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas produk. penelitian dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data hasil pengujian uniformity testing machine. identifikasi penyebab dilakukan menggunakan fishbone diagram, sedangkan penentuan akar penyebab menggunakan why-why analysis. hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi delapan kasus utama yang berasal dari proses material, building, dan curing. implementasi tindakan perbaikan berdasarkan akar penyebab tersebut berhasil menurunkan persentase conicity out of specification dari 20,77% menjadi 6,18% serta meningkatkan oe yield dari 57,61% menjadi 73,15%, sehingga melampaui target perusahaan sebesar 70%. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tindakan perbaikan berdasarkan identifikasi akar penyebab mampu meningkatkan stabilitas proses manufaktur dan kualitas ban oem.
T The tire manufacturing process plays a crucial role in determining product quality and vehicle safety. one of the key quality parameters is uniformity, particularly lateral force deviation (lfd), which consists of lateral force variation (lfv), conicity, and ply steer. high conicity values increase the number of out of specification (out spec) products, resulting in a lower oe yield. this study aims to analyze the causes of lateral force deformation in the manufacturing process of original equipment manufacturer (oem) tires and to develop corrective actions to improve product quality. a quantitative approach was employed using data obtained from the uniformity testing machine (utm). the root causes were identified using the fishbone diagram, while the why-why analysis method was applied to determine the underlying causes. the analysis identified eight major cases originating from the material, building, and curing processes. the implementation of corrective actions based on the identified root causes successfully reduced the percentage of conicity out of specification from 20.77% to 6.18%. it increased the oe yield from 57.61% to 73.15%, exceeding the company\\\'s target of 70%. the results demonstrate that implementing corrective actions based on systematic root cause analysis can improve manufacturing process stability and enhance the quality of oem tires.
