D Dalam era digital dan industri 4.0, efisiensi operasional warehouse suku cadang pada industri alat berat menjadi penentu keberhasilan logistik. pt bina pertiwi menghadapi tantangan tingginya waktu siklus (cycle time) dan ketidakseimbangan beban kerja pada area outgoing dan shipping barang akibat belum adanya perancangan work instruction (wi) yang terstandarisasi untuk mendukung operasional berbasis portable data terminal (pdt). penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis, merancang, dan menguji penerapan work instruction (wi) berbasis portable data terminal (pdt) guna mengeliminasi pemborosan alur kerja (waste) antara kondisi current state dan future state (paperless), mengukur perubahan performa secara kuantitatif, serta merumuskan strategi keberlanjutan implementasinya. pendekatan yang digunakan mencakup lean warehousing untuk mengidentifikasi empat jenis pemborosan (waste of transportation, waiting, motion, dan excess processing), discrete event simulation (des) untuk mengevaluasi parameter performa secara kuantitatif, serta analisis swot untuk merumuskan strategi keberlanjutan. pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, studi dokumen operasional warehouse, dan wawancara di warehouse suku cadang pt bina pertiwi. hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sap mobile dengan pdt melalui penyesuaian wi berhasil mengeliminasi pemborosan administrasi manual dan memangkas total waktu siklus (cycle time) sebesar 45,75%, dari 42,25 menit (current state) menjadi 22,92 menit (future state), serta menurunkan tingkat kesibukan kritis stasiun kantor dari 93,49% menjadi 20,73%. berdasarkan analisis kelayakan dan swot, keberlanjutan sistem ini direkomendasikan melalui penyediaan dedicated wi-fi framework, pelaksanaaan pilot project, serta peningkatkan kapabilitas operator melalui pelatihan terstruktur.

I In the digital era and industry 4.0, warehouse operational efficiency in the heavy equipment industry plays a critical role in logistics success. pt bina pertiwi faces challenges regarding high cycle times and unbalanced workloads within its receiving and shipping operations due to the absence of standardized work instructions (wi) designed to support operations based on portable data terminals (pdt). this study aims to analyze, design, and evaluate the implementation of portable data terminal (pdt)-based work instructions (wi) to eliminate workflow wastes between the current state and the future state (paperless system), measure quantitative performance improvements, and formulate strategies for sustainable implementation. the methodology incorporates lean warehousing to identify four major types of waste (waste of transportation, waiting, motion, and excess processing), discrete event simulation (des) to quantitatively evaluate performance parameters, and swot analysis to establish sustainability strategies. data collection was conducted through field observations, operational document reviews, and interviews at the spare parts warehouse of pt bina pertiwi. the results demonstrate that integrating sap mobile with pdt through modified wis successfully eliminates manual administrative waste and significantly reduces the total cycle time by 45.75%, from 42.25 minutes (current state) to 22.92 minutes (future state), while decreasing the critical utilization rate of the office station from 93.49% to 20.73%. based on feasibility and swot analyses, the system\\\'s sustainability is recommended through the implementation of a dedicated wi-fi framework, the execution of a pilot project, and operator capability enhancement via structured training programs.
