P Pertumbuhan industri food and beverage (f&b) di bali mendorongpeningkatan konsumsi sumber daya, penggunaan kemasan, dan volume limbahoperasional yang berpotensi menimbulkan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan.kondisi tersebut menuntut perusahaan untuk menerapkan praktik circular economysebagai pendekatan yang mendukung keberlanjutan melalui pengurangan limbah,optimalisasi penggunaan sumber daya, dan pengelolaan material secara lebih efisien.penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik circular economyterhadap environmental performance dengan peran mediasi green innovation danreverse logistics pada industri f&b di bali.penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatankuantitatif dengan metode survei terhadap 220 responden yang berasal dari restorandan kafe berskala nasional di bali. data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dandianalisis menggunakan partial least squares–structural equation modeling (plssem) dengan bantuan perangkat lunak smartpls 4. hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa praktik circular economy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadapenvironmental performance, green innovation, dan reverse logistics. greeninnovation dan reverse logistics juga terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikanterhadap environmental performance. selain itu, green innovation dan reverselogistics mampu memediasi secara signifikan hubungan antara circular economydan environmental performance. model penelitian memiliki kemampuan penjelasanyang kuat dengan nilai koefisien determinasi (r²) environmental performancesebesar 0,700. penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembanganliteratur sustainable supply chain management dengan menjelaskan mekanismepeningkatan environmental performance melalui green innovation dan reverselogistics. secara praktis, hasil penelitian dapat menjadi acuan bagi pelaku industrif&b dalam mengimplementasikan praktik circular economy untuk meningkatkankinerja lingkungan secara berkelanjutan.
T The growth of the food and beverage (f&b) industry in bali has led toincreased resource consumption, packaging usage, and operational waste generation,which potentially contribute to negative environmental impacts. this conditionrequires companies to implement circular economy practices as a strategic approachto sustainability through waste reduction, resource optimization, and more efficientmaterial management. this study aims to analyze the effect of circular economypractices on environmental performance, with the mediating roles of greeninnovation and reverse logistics in the f&b industry in bali. this study employeda quantitative approach using a survey method involving 220 respondents fromnationally operated restaurants and cafés in bali. data were collected throughquestionnaires and analyzed using partial least squares–structural equationmodeling (pls-sem) with the assistance of smartpls 4 software. the resultsindicate that circular economy practices have a positive and significant effect onenvironmental performance, green innovation, and reverse logistics. furthermore,green innovation and reverse logistics have a positive and significant effect onenvironmental performance. the mediation analysis reveals that both greeninnovation and reverse logistics significantly mediate the relationship betweencircular economy and environmental performance. the research modeldemonstrates strong explanatory power, with an r² value of 0.700 for environmentalperformance. this study contributes to the sustainable supply chain managementliterature by explaining the mechanisms through which environmental performancecan be enhanced through green innovation and reverse logistics. practically, thefindings provide guidance for f&b companies in implementing circular economypractices to improve environmental performance and support long-termsustainability.
