Abstrak
Abstract

P Parallel filesystem merupakan jenis filesystem yang dipakai dalam sebuah kluster komputer. Filesystem jenis ini dirancang untuk mampu memanfaatkan potensi perangkat penyimpanan semaksimal mungkin, sehingga mampu memberikan throughput yang besar yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh sebuah aplikasi paralel.Untuk tugas akhir yang dibahas adalah mengenai parallel filesystem itu sendiri. Halmenjadi titik berat untuk diamati adalah throughput dari parallel filesystem tersebut. Darithroughput tersebut bisa dilihat kemampuan parallel filesystem tersebut dalam memenuhi kebutuhan aplikasi paralel akan kemampuan menangani penyimpanan data dalam jumlah yang besar. Basil yang diperoleh setelah melakukan pengujian adalah bahwa parallel filesystem tersebut mampu memberikan kinerja yang cukup baik.

P Parallel filesystem is a type of filesystem which is used in a computer cluster. This filesystem is designed to utilize the optimum potential of a storage devices, thus enable it to produce large throughput that is needed by parallel applications.This final assignment was written to discuss about parallel filesystem which implemented in computer cluster. The focus of this final assignment is the throughput of the parallel filesystem. Therefore, the results of this final assignment is obtained after performing several tests on computer cluster which implemented parallel filesystem. The major finding of this final assignment is that observing throughput of parallel filesystem will enable evaluation of parallel filesystem ability to accommodate parallel application needs of a large storage device which able to store large amount of data. The output of this final assignment after performing some testing on parallel filesystem is that parallel filesystem shown satisfying throughput performance.
