W Women\\\'s rights in politics have been regulated by the 1945 constitution of the republic of indonesia article 28d paragraph (1). based on law number 7 of 2017 the minimum requirement for women\\\'s representation in general elections is 30%. the problem of this thesis is how is the compliance with the requirement of 30% women\\\'s representation in the nomination of legislative members in gorontalo province in 2024 based on law number 7 of 2017? and how is the re-election of legislative members in gorontalo province after the constitutional court decision number 125-01-08-29 / phpu.dpr-dprd-xxii / 2024? this research is a normative research with a descriptive nature to test the fulfillment of the requirements for women\\\'s representation as mandated by law number 7 of 2017 in the nomination of legislative members in gorontalo province in 2024. using primary data and secondary data, processed qualitatively and collected through literature studies. and conclusions are drawn deductively. the results of the study illustrate that women\\\'s representation in the gorontalo elections has not been implemented so that it does not comply with articles 177, 245, 248, 249 of law number 7 of 2017. due to the failure to fulfill this requirement, the constitutional court has also declared that the gorontalo provincial election commission (kpud) failed to comply with supreme court decision no. 24 p/hum/2023 and ordered a revote (psu) at all polling stations in the electoral district. after that, a revote was held, the results of which were in accordance with supreme court decision no. 24 p/hum/2023.
